Studio Ballena is a Belgian tabletop studio creating high end product photography and cinematic films where light, movement and detail come together to reveal what makes a product truly stand out.
Where products become moments
A drop, a splash, a pour, a bottle coming out of the ice. These are the moments that sell food, drinks and products, and most of them last a fraction of a second.
We build them in the studio and shoot them frame by frame: the liquid guided, the timing repeated until it lands, the light set for the surface in front of the camera.
Some briefs need precision, some need trying things until one works, and most need both.

A place to build ideas
Our studio in Welle is built for tabletop work: room for several sets at once, lighting that can be shaped to the product, and a stock of props and surfaces on hand.
Around it is a network of stylists, set builders and technicians we bring in when the brief asks for them.
Some shoots are one table and two people. Some are a full production. The approach is the same.
